Plans, coordinates, publicizes, and implements special events, including social events, recognition celebrations, conferences, and meetings. Facilitates production of events by coordinating with performing groups, arranging publicity, and approving expenditures
Work in partnership with the Director of Development to develop an annual event strategy for stewarding, identifying, and cultivating donors and prospects.
Serve as lead on Development-related special events, including logistics, guest list development, invitation process, event staffing, and follow-up.
Serve as lead or assist on other College events as may be assigned or appropriate.
Assist with donor communications and outreach: phone and written correspondence.
Liaise with Schools of Music, Theatre & Dance, and Art to leverage each school's events for donor cultivation purposes.
Promote donor acquisition and further TCVPA's profile by developing and executing events in other regions.
Assist Dean's Executive Associate to implement events in connection with the Dean's National Council of Advisors when necessary.
Work closely with outside vendors and local businesses to coordinate College/community events and secure sponsorships when applicable.
Serve as Development liaison for College-led community arts consortium, ArtsLubbock. Duties include scheduling quarterly meetings, preparing meeting materials, and periodic meeting attendance.
Facilitate efforts related to annual giving-level (less than $25,000) donors and development efforts through:
Ongoing collaboration with Institutional Advancement Annual Leadership Giving.
Serving as a liaison for select faculty projects and fundraising initiatives.
Collaborate with the Marketing Department to:
Steward and cultivate outstanding alumni.
Maintain inventory of items for College promotion including alumni gifts as well as development, marketing, and special recognition materials.
Enhance alumni involvement in support of the College's programs and initiatives through ongoing engagement, with the goal of maintaining an active alumni base.
Engage in public relations activities with donors, alumni, members of the general public, faculty, students and University officials.
Bachelor's degree plus one year related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience equal to five years.
