The Department of Management at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) seeks applicants for a tenure track position in Organizational Behavior or Human Resources Management at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The preferred applicant will have completed their PhD in human resources, organizational behavior, or a related field. We seek individuals who have demonstrated potential to publish in top-tier management journals, the capacity to teach OB or HRM courses at all levels, and the ability to work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.
The position responsibilities will include: a)Research culminating with publications in such journals as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. b)Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational behavior, human resource management, curriculum and course development, and engaging with HRM students, alumni, and Advisory Board. d)Customary service commitments to the department, college, university, community and/or profession. e)Maintaining appropriate AACSB faculty qualification criteria as defined by the college.
Candidates will have an earned Doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited university with teaching and research experience in Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Management.
Candidate will have completed their PhD within the last four years in human resources, organizational behavior, or a related field.
