The Registered Nurse (RN) exhibits and executesBaylor Scott & White Healthï¿½s (BSWH) Values & Behaviors in deliveringand coordinating patient care. Utilizing the BSWH nursing professional practicemodel, the RN is a licensed professional who is responsible for:
ï¿½using clinical reasoning
ï¿½developing, implementing andevaluating the nursing plan of care
ï¿½managing both emotional andphysical patients
ï¿½assessing patient and familylevel of understanding to provide effective communication and education
ï¿½working collaboratively withmedical staff
ï¿½providing quality care in acompassionate and professional manner
The Seasonal RN program includes:
ï¿½13 week assignment
ï¿½Flat $42/hr rate of pay (must work 3-12 hour shifts/week)
ï¿½$1500 Completion Bonus at the end of 13 weeks
The ideal candidate for the Registered Nurse (RN)position will be compassionate, caring and experienced indeveloping/implementing the plan of care for each patient, makingrecommendations for patient interventions, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver care and document outcomes. The successful candidatemust promote safe passage for their patients by using knowledge of patientneeds and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition throughthe healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays.
