The Department of Psychiatry consists of 33 faculty (Clinical and Research), 18 other academics, 32 residents, 7 fellows and 52 volunteer faculty with an annual budget of $11.5 million. Under general direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the MSO is responsible for the oversight of Operations and Administration of Finance, Research, Medical Education and the FOCUS clinical program. In conjunction with the CAO, the incumbent will be responsible for development and implementation of long range planning, management and supervision of administrative operations in support of its research, clinical service and teaching operations. The incumbent will have direct responsibility for the organization of work, supervision of administrative staff, budget development, financial control, business development, education program administration, process improvement and problem solving in the delivery of related program services of the department.
