This Value-based Quality and Regulatory Associate is assigned to support quality initiatives for Transplant Services across the Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute. The position analyzes, reviews, trends, forecasts, and presents information that supports Baylor Scott and White Healthâs strategy of providing safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care in accordance with regulatory statues, polices, and procedures. The Associate provides subject matter expertise and comprehensive quality measurement analytics for quality improvement initiatives across the organization
Core job duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Transplant Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program facilitation
Data analysis and reporting of internal and external data including evaluation of patient outcomes and data integrity
Assist with regulatory compliance assessment and education for medical staff
Assist with Policy and Procedure maintenance and education
Maintain awareness of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in solid-organ transplant quality and regulatory compliance
The ideal candidate for this Value-based Quality and Regulatory Associate role will possess knowledge of quality and performance improvement standards, evidence-based patient safety/risk management, outcomes management and the regulatory environment. The ideal candidate will also have strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with Medical and Administrative staff.
