![]() Research Operations Program Manager Stanford University The Evaluation Sciences Unit (ESU) in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University is seeking a highly motivated and hard-working professional to join their team as Research Operations Program Manager for the purpose of developing, and administering standard operating procedures and strategic plans for key operations within the ESU. This includes the staffing, evaluation and impact of the ESU and growth to accommodate partnerships. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of scientists working on a wide variety of collaborative projects in healthcare delivery and will work closely with the ESU directors and other unit leaders. The role of this position is to support the team and ESU directors in strategic development and to oversee key operations for the entire unit. Basic knowledge of evaluation and implementation science in the health care delivery setting is desirable. Managing the program: Provide day-to-day management of the working team and collaborators, update leadership (PI's) on a regular basis, and escalate obstacles to leadership as needed. In this day-to-day leadership role, the Program Manager also assumes overall accountability for efficient, timely and fiscally prudent delivery across the program. The Program Manager is also responsible for ensuring continuous improvement within the program, and codifying processes and learnings to help build capabilities across the program. Leading the work of the team: Leading the work of a team, providing direction as well as feedback on their work products. The team structure includes multiple principal investigators, junior and senior research staff, and students. Developing and managing relationships:Developing and managing relationships and deliverables with collaborators, including pilot sponsors, research collaborators/PI's, and funders. Develop and deliver presentation materials for new funding and partnership opportunities. Ensure faculty, students and staff are engaged and collaborating to complete program deliverables. Serve as the liaison with international collaborators across academia, healthcare organizations, non-profit foundations, and industry. Duties include:
