The Technical Manager of the CLIA laboratory within the Cedars-Sinai Precision Biomarkers Laboratories (PBL) will have direct responsibility of the supervision of clinical laboratory staff and operations within this division. In this capacity, the technical manager is responsible for the organization of work, supervision of employees, staff development, expense control, quality assurance, process improvement, and problem solving in the delivery of services and related programs within the division. Additionally, the CLIA laboratory within PBL is focused on providing high quality mass spectrometry-based assays and specialty immunoassays to aid in patient care. As such, prior experience overseeing a clinical mass spectrometry operation is preferred. Will work closely with research and development team for implementation of novel assays. Performs all job duties with sensitivity and attention to the details of the patient population(s) served. Other related tasks may be assigned as needed
