Qualifications REQUIRED -Three to five years experience as an Epic system analyst, performing system configurations, testing and deployment. -Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) build and configuration. -Certified in EpicCare Ambulatory, Mychart, Inpatient Clinical Documentation, or similar modules. -Experience working with multiple clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development. -Experience with quality improvement principles, practices, and tools into system design. -Experience with advanced application of adult learning principles and clinical system design standards. -Experience with organizational strategies, business operations, and end-user requirements to develop system design and training projects. -Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation, etc.) -Experience working in an academic institution or large integrated health system. -Experience with management, information system trends, and professional practice standards.
PREFERRED -Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Spanish speaking preferred; is able to read, write and speak in Spanish.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT -Travel in the Northern California region may be required. -Will be required to provide on call support as needed. -THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
Responsibilities The Epic MyChart Analyst provides leadership and technical direction while performing a variety of duties relating to Epic MyChart applications, programs, workflow and goals. Participates in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of information systems that support clinical and operational MyChart practices and the overall organizational strategy for clinical information systems. Ensures ongoing support for all components of EPIC MyChart applications. Serves as technical resource to the Epic MyChart Application team..
