Description The Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive pharmaceutical services (unit dose, IV admixtures, clinical services, infusion pumps, pharmacy technology, and teaching) throughout the Health System 24 hours per day. The Department is comprised of three inpatient, six outpatient pharmacies, a sterile production lab, and the full complement of pharmacy purchasing, stores and distribution.

Qualifications REQUIRED -Current California Technician Registration -Working knowledge of 3rd party payers -Computer order experience
PREFERRED -Familiarity with current HIV/AIDS drugs and treatment regiments -Recent work in an outpatient pharmacy

Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to provide all aspects of technical support services under the supervision of an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, including the monthly nursing and pharmacy area inspections.
