The Clinical Research Assistant I is responsible forassisting with data collection for a research study as prescribed in the studyprotocol in order to meet the intended goals and objectives while complyingwith all institutional, federal and state rules, regulations, protocols andfunding constraints. The Research Assistant will assist in recruitingparticipants into the research program and maintain organized records of allrecruitment efforts, participant enrollment, and participant follow-up data.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Directly recruiting participants into the research program
Including but not limited to:
Conducting phone call screeners to confirm participant eligibility
Scheduling initial baseline appointments
Conducting home visits with research staff to assist in administering baseline assessment and obtain informed consent
Assembling recruitment material packets
Preparing recruitment mail outs and tracking all mail outs in secured database
Retaining participants for the duration of the research program
Including but not limited to:
Scheduling follow-up phone calls
Collecting follow-up data via phone calls throughout the duration of the program
Maintaining records of follow-up data
Working cooperatively as part of a team
Attending meetings, asking questions and providing information and status updates about current work
