The Technical Solution Engineer solves advanced complex technical problems. The Technical Solution Engineer develops and provides solutions and procedures for best practice implementations. The role sets standards, installations guidelines, and maintenance and verification/auditing documentation of systems solutions.
The Technical Solution Engineer job duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical design of systems for building projects including voice, data, audio/visual and other low voltage systems
Responsibilities include preparation of specifications, descriptive drawings, conduct site visits, review technical documents and customer contact
Will be responsible to complete project assignments with minimal supervision as well as give directions to support staff to complete a project
Credentials as an RCDD preferred
Experience or understanding of 3-D modeling such as Revit or Triforma software
Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation, Visio, Bluebeam Revu is valued
Project management experience related to Low Voltage Cabling Infrastructure installation is preferred
General understanding of Commercial Construction terms, processes and practices is preferred
The ideal candidate for the Technical Solution Engineer role will be able to analyze and test vendor software, report issues to vendor and provide recommendations for resolution of issues.
