The Corporate Compliance Consultant works under the direction of the Compliance Vice President and or Director to perform ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to BSWH policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
The Corporate Compliance Consultant job duties include, but are not limited to:
Identifies appropriate projects for audits and schedules audits with appropriate personnel.
Conducts auditing, monitoring, and investigating activities to determine compliance with BSWH policies and procedure, and federal, state and local laws.
Provides written audit and investigation reports, identifying risks and recommending appropriate steps to improve effectiveness and mitigate risks.
Obtains corrective action plans for identified deficiencies and follows through to determine effective implementation is completed.
Tracks audit findings and surveys personnel audited to assess audit satisfaction and effectiveness.
Provides and coordinates education and training for compliance initiatives.
Serves as a compliance resource to BSWH departments and entities on basic compliance matters.
The ideal candidate for the Corporate Compliance Consultant will demonstrate excellent written and oral communicate skills based on level of expertise, and also exercise good judgment, attention to detail, integrity, dependability and objectivity.
