Research prospective donors, pursue leads and follow through to a successful endowment agreement

Possess a strong understanding of the Foundations Mission
Strategy: Develops and executes ongoing strategy for qualifying donors and moving them to prospect status using tools such as small cultivation events, research and community networking.
2. Fundraising Targets and Portfolio Management: Create a portfolio of donors and prospects. Responsible for minimum annual fundraising goal. Personally solicits donor portfolio, including preparation of personalized materials when needed.
Prospect Development: Work with ED, Board members and other leadership volunteers to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward appropriate donors. Update donor records in database following donor contact. Identify donors for legacy giving.
Relationship Development: Develops ongoing relationships with major donors for the benefit of the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation. Accountable for cultivating relationships for individual fundraising and organizational fundraising.
Individuals: Cultivates relationships with individual donors personally.
Organizations: Cultivates, solicits and stewards support from corporations and foundations to meet annual fundraising goals.
Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

We raise funds to increase college access for graduates of Cy-Fair ISD by awarding scholarships and to promote excellence in teaching by providing staff development grants to CFISD.
