The Chief Nursing Officer will have responsibility for nursing practice at Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO as part of UCHealth.
The Chief Nursing Officer will partner with the President of Longs Peak Hospital and the Chief Nurse Executive of UCHealth, on a broad range of issues including budgeting, policy development, facilities and service planning and overall quality of care. The CNO provides leadership, strategic direction and oversight of all departments where patient care is delivered and is responsible for all nursing care delivered at Longs Peak Hospital. The CNO utilizes clinical and administrative knowledge to facilitate measure, evaluate, and interpret care needs of patients and performance of staff while directing activities and meeting the directives established by the health system’s mission, vision and values statements.
