Under the supervision of the UCI MIND Manager of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Research Inquiry Coordinator will have primary responsibility for responding to patient/community inquiries about UCI MIND clinical trials and clinical research opportunities via telephone, fax, email, or website. Incumbent will provide a high-level of customer service while determining the needs of clinical trials candidates, answering questions, providing information on various studies, and responding to inquiries/questions as appropriate. Acts as initial screening and eligibility contact for clinical trials. Assists in the coordination and scheduling of screens, study visits, confirms clinical trials appointments, and assists with visit preparation. Gathers and enters appropriate information for screening, recruitment tracking, and clinical trials databases. The incumbent will also have responsibility for maintaining current clinical trial information and preparing recruitment information for community outreach and recruitment activities.
