Overview: In conjunction with the Head of School and the Administrative Council, the Director of Admissions leads, manages and evaluates the student enrollment process – from inquiry through admissions to enrollment to assimilation into the school's culture. Along with process management, the position provides creative oversight, in keeping with the school's mission, to draw, enroll and retain mission appropriate students.

Computer proficiency: data base, word processing, etc.
Understanding of marketing principles as they relate to student admissions.
Ability to long range plan and manage the daily details of implementation.
Respond to all new student inquiries with the goal of cultivating relationships of all mission appropriate families.
Manage the admissions process, from first inquiry to assimilation.
Maintain appropriate admission statistics and evaluate to monitor effectiveness of admissions process.
Manage and recommend financial aid grants.
Establish recruitment strategies to draw and keep mission-appropriate families.
In partnership with the Strategic Communications/Marketing Department and Development Department, develop marketing tools, events and advertising campaigns, etc. to reach out to mission appropriate families.
In conjunction with Strategic Communications/Marketing Department, develop marketing tools for student recruitment, enrollment and assimilation.
Work with Division Heads to schedule interviews for prospective families.
Provide tours of campus – both individual and group.
Design/produce mailings and correspondence pertinent to the admissions process.
Educate and enlist faculty and staff to assist where needed in the admission process.
Establish, maintain and evaluate appropriate systems to facilitate family visits, student testing, and interviewing.
In conjunction with Division Heads, develop and evaluate screening process for both mission appropriateness and academic readiness.
Keep appropriate records and statistics throughout the enrollment process.
In conjunction with Division Heads, evaluate applicants for admission.
In conjunction with Division Heads, develop tools and programs to assist in new student assimilation.
Develop a detailed one to three year marketing plan to target, nurture, enroll and keep mission appropriate students.
Assist with other school related events and activities where needed.
