Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science is seeking a highly motivated, self-paced individual to support the Provost/Executive Vice President of AcademicAffaris.
The Executive Assistant directly supports the Provost/Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs (Provost/EVPAA). The position will perform complex and varied administrative assignments directly for the Provost/EVPAA and for the Office of the Provost. Assists with the general administration of Academic Affairs including managing the calendar, organizing and expediting workflow of projects and assignments, establishing and implementing procedures and controls, coordinating meetings, supervising staff, and evaluating divisional operations; support, develop, monitor, and evaluate projects related to divisional budget, strategic and academic planning, and accreditation. The Executive Assistant represents the commitments of the University and the Provost/EVPAA to internal and external audiences.
Three to five years related experience, preferably in a higher education or a corporate environment.
Prior experience providing confidential, administrative support to a senior executive
