The School of Humanities at the University of California, Irvine, invites applications for a Digital Pedagogy Coordinator. This is an Academic Coordinator position at 17.5 % starting July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2021 with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will take a leading role in developing and implementing a coordinated approach to digital pedagogy for the Humanities Core Program. The position calls for website design, building and maintenance; curricular design assistance; creation of digital teaching resources; and instructor training and faculty support. Requirements: A master's degree in a humanities discipline; experience digital platforms and technologies, especially in the area of teaching. Excellent writing and oral communications. Strong interdisciplinary interests, skills and experience. Experience in teaching undergraduates in a university-level interdisciplinary program. Preferred Qualifications: Strong computer skills, including fluency in platforms such as WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and video and audio editing software. Familiarity with coding and programming (Java Script/HTML) also desirable. Experience in project management and or in organizing workshops or conferences.
