Incumbent acts as front line customer service representative in a fast paced, high volume campus Center. Responsibilities include opening the site daily, reception, walk in traffic coordination, maintaining reservation calendar and coordinating with operations staff facility scheduling. Incumbent develops and manages the CCC Affiliate Program working with over 30 diverse student, staff, department, and faculty users of the Center.
The incumbent manages Center library and provides back up administrative support for the CCC volunteer program. In addition the incumbent processes several Center fiscal items including, pay authorization, purchase orders, purchase requisitions, speaker contracts, and other fiscal needs for the Center.
Must have flexible hours and be available nights and weekends.

Experience providing administrative support in a Higher Education environment, including strong interaction with diverse students, staff, faculty, and community members.
Experience providing work direction to student assistants. Setting priorities, managing workloads, ensuring and assisting in completion of assignments as needed.
Demonstrated experience coordinating training and orientation of new student assistants.
Proven experience with various software packages such as the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), and social media outlets including Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Experience working in a customer service capacity, on telephone, in person and using electronic communication systems, exercising tact and diplomacy with emphasis on flexibility and professionalism.
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse campus and community individuals and groups.
Strong oral and written communication skills with emphasis on working with student, staff, faculty and community members from diverse backgrounds. Proven ability to compose, draft and edit correspondence, reports, notices and announcements.
Solid organizational skills. ability to successfully follow multiple tasks through to completion. Ability to prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines while working in an environment with frequent interruptions. Exercise good judgment for problem solving and ability to anticipate problems.
