Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Athletics Ticket Office including distribution and sale of tickets for all UH athletic events and other events held at UH athletic venues.
Develops, implements and supervises the overall operation of the Athletic Ticket Office.
Responsible for accurately building manifests for all athletic events.
Manages ticket inventory for all athletic events, including NCAA and conference requirements, Cougar Pride, season ticket and individual games.
Ensures timely renewal of all manifested athletic seasons, including invoicing, managing print files and provided accurate payment status reporting.
Manages the creation of all internal and online season ticket and single game ticket offers and programs.
Prepares all game statements including in-game attendance and post-game reports.
Oversees the processing and fulfillment of all season, single game, group, partial plan, and complimentary tickets for all athletic events.
Manages the processing of all ticket payments and accurate reconciliation of all ticket and parking revenues.
Maintains accurate accounting of daily and yearly ticket sales reports, revenue deposits, and additional reports requested by the athletics department.
Provides data export for marketing and sales initiatives.
Responsible for the leadership and supervision of full-time, part-time, and seasonal Athletic Ticket Office staff.
Recruits, trains, and manages a core group of student interns and assistants.
Staff and manage Box Office staff for all ticketed events to ensure tier-one efficiency and customer relations.
Understands NCAA regulations related to ticketing for at home and away competitions to include recruits, high school coaches, players, families, general public, booster and donors.
Works directly with Cougar Pride to fulfill donor related benefits for season tickets including allocation and distribution of priority parking passes in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Manages third-party relationships with approved vendors of Athletics and the University, such as printing companies, credit card merchants and shipping providers.
Remains current on industry best practices and technology regarding ticketing and ticket software.
Performs other job-related duties as required.
Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
