Harborview Medical Center seeks talented professional in the position of ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant for Inpatient Neurosurgery.Position currently open is for 90% FTE.Shifts would primarily be evenings/nights; shift flexibility is available for this position.Harborview Medical Center seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or certified Physician Assistant on the acute neurosurgery unit.The APP for the Department of Neurological Surgery is responsible for comprehensive acute inpatient care, including neurosurgical and internal medicine management. The Healthcare Specialist cares for the neurologically injured patient in a dynamic, active, ever-changing environment at the regions only Level I Trauma Center. Work is performed in collaboration with attending physicians, neurosurgeons, residents and internal medicine hospitalists. This is a part time position; there is no call for this position and there are no surgical responsibilities.The Department of Neurological Surgery at Harborview Medical Center provides patient care services for a broad range of neurological diseases and disorders at the four University of Washington affiliated hospitals in Seattle, Washington. The Department is also the primary referral center for patients with complex neurological conditions and neurological trauma in the five state WWAMI region, as well as the tertiary referral center for national and international patients.
