Ensure the stability and integrity of LCEC voice, data and wireless network services through planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.
Participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.
Manage and implement system security to insure data integrity and protection using routers, firewalls, virus protection, access control and intrusion detection systems.
Assist in the design, deployment and management of complex projects related to LCEC’s telecommunications and digital network infrastructure and its associated software.
Assist in the implementation and support of VOIP phone systems, microwave radio, land mobile radio and fiber optics.
Must possess the ability to analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely manner and provide end-user training. Associate’s Degree required with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Lea County Electric Cooperative, located in Lovington, New Mexico, serves portions of three counties in New Mexico and portions of three counties in Texas including three residential towns, and the oilfield and farm/ranch communities. The Cooperative has 4,275 miles of lines (338 miles of transmission) with 16,180 meters.
Lea County Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LCEC) was incorporated in 1949. Headquartered in Lovington, New Mexico, the Cooperative energizes over 15,000 meters in areas of Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas in portions of six (6) counties: Chaves, Eddy and Lea Counties in New Mexico and Cochran, Gaines and Yoakum counties in Texas. Nine (9) dedicated trustees along with management and employees have led LCEC through changes and growth.
