We are seeking a dynamic SLP to join our neuro outpatient clinic in St. George, Utah.
Based at Dixie Regional Medical Center, we are an outpatient team that provides speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work services. We are nestled in a thriving community that is close to Zion's National Park, Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas. We prefer to hire someone with advanced training in treating voice and swallow disorders, as well as a dynamic person who can grow and expand our program in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologists in our clinic are currently treating neurogenic disorders/diseases, TBI, CVA, Parkinson’s, memory, cognition, swallow, and voice disorders. We anticipate that the therapist hired will provide support in these areas as needed.
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. In addition, this position is also responsible for consulting, educating and training patients and their caregivers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Education must be obtained from an accredited program. Degree will be verified.
Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing and email).
