University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) and Northwest Hospital (NWH) have an exciting opportunity to join our neonatal intensive care team as as experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA). The NNP/PA will provide exceptional advanced practice medical care to high risk and normal newborns and their families at both University of Washington Medical Center and Northwest Hospital. This advanced practice role operates under the parameters of clinical practice and continuity of care; nursing leaders; and resident education and support at UWMC. The provider may function independently or under the direct supervision of the attending neonatologist, with the capability to bill for services rendered specific to their role. Current Washington State Prescriptive Authority License. If ARNP, Current NCC certification as a neonatal nurse practitioner. National board certification (ANA or NAPNAP). Current Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Education & Experience. Master's degree from an accredited program. 3 years experience as NNP or PA in Level III NICU and delivery room experience is strongly preferred.Active Drug Enforcement Authority registration.
