Under the direction of Professors Dana Mukamel and Kai Zheng, the incumbent will join the CalMHSA Mental Health Tech Suite Innovation (INN) Evaluation Team. Responsibilities will include managing, cleaning and analyzing a large number of data sets in varying formats, size and origin, such as electronic health records, claims data, user-generated data from health apps (including structured such as usage logs and unstructured data such as online chatting transcripts), and datasets collected by California counties. The incumbent will be expected to interact with UCI team members, including faculty and staff researchers from several departments, and with county personnel, including data managers, programmers, program administrators and others. The incumbent will be expected to provide, under supervision, support to data needs of all project teams as well as prepare analytical files, conduct statistical analyses and prepare data and findings for presentations. The incumbent will also be expected to travel to various counties (including overnight travel) in California, to confer with data and IT personnel about their data, its relevance to the evaluation, and its use in the analyses.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
