OHSU cares for acutely and critically ill patients in our Operating Room. We provide the latest evidence-based care and have a reputation for effective teamwork. Operating Room team members understand the importance of their independent scope of practice and engage in dependent scope of practice decision making with the team. Operating Room nurses also provide patient and family-centered care for the full spectrum of illnesses.
The primary function of the Hybrid OR Tech is the operation and administration of Fluoroscopy in the Hybrid OR. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring cases, scrubbing cases, unit development projects, assist with supply and equipment management/stocking, and all other talents that are part of the full success of the perioperative team
The OHSU Operating Room provides around-the-clock multidisciplinary services to adult patients across their life span. The department cares for Ambulatory, Adult Acute Care and Adult ICU patients arriving from home, ED or from the In-Patient setting. OHSU is a Magnet designated hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center.
Work Shift: Monday \u2013 Friday, Variable Days, Rotating 0700-1730 x 4 days one week and 0900-1930 x 3 days and 0700-1730 x 1 the following week
Call shifts: Every day, every other week and weekend (Mon \u2013 Sun) -1930 \u2013 0630 (Mon-Thu)-1930 Friday \u2013 0630 Monday
