Dr. Justin Caouette\u2019s Friends, Adolescence, and BehaviorLaboratory (FAB Lab) within the Department of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine at OHSU is hiring a full-time, temporary (6 month) Research Assistant to assist with an NIH-funded project examining adolescent health risk behavior. The position is projected to run from January 2019 through June 2019. Flexibility to work on Saturdays and Sundays is essential.
This position is heavily oriented toward community outreach to achieve participant recruitment goals. Duties also include facilitating research participant visits, which involve consenting, standardized neuropsychological testing, administration of questionnaires, and interviews about personal health behaviors (such as substance use and sexual activity). Additional responsibilities may include assisting with MRI scanning, eligibility screening, updating study databases, data entry and cleaning, interacting with study volunteers, and administrative duties.
