Position Summary: Incumbent provides care to an assigned group of Cardiology, including oversight of the administration of stress tests, providing moderate sedation to patients undergoing Transesophageal Echocardiograms in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, and for starting intravenous lines to be used to give echo contrast and agitated saline injections during transthoracic, stress, and/or pharmacological echocardiograms. Evaluates patient clinical needs and outcomes, effectiveness of plan of care, and readiness for discharge and revises plan or makes referrals as necessary.
