Clinical: Majority of time will be spent within the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Cardiac Amyloidosis Centers as an attending Cardiologist. In addition to out-patient clinics, the interested physician will work within our echocardiography laboratory and/or cardiac MRI suite, round with our inpatient general cardiology services, conduct clinical trials, collaborate with leading edge basic scientists, and develop local and national educational outreach..Serving as an attending in our outreach programs may also be required.
Research: If you participate in clinical or basic research, your clinical FTE will be adjusted based on the salary you receive from these endeavors. We expect you to collaborate with your colleagues in clinical research and develop a portfolio of clinical research activities that are funded from extramural sources (industry or peer-reviewed grants).
Education: As teaching is an important portion of the cardiology mission you will be responsible for the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. You will spend a portion of your time on these activities.
