The Northwest Houston Center Graduate Assistant, under general supervision, will assist the Northwest Houston Center staff via hands-on-learning through assigned projects in the areas of business operations, leadership skills, scheduling, presentation and analytic skills using PowerPoint and Excel as well as graphics content. The Graduate Assistant will also assist with front desk coverage including greeting all customers while providing information via phone, email or in person. The GA is also responsible for providing technical support in the computer lab and ensuring that all printers in the labs and faculty room are stocked with paper at all times.
Assist with NWHC special projects as assigned.
Troubleshoots computers while providing lab assistance. Maintains the printers and stock them with papers.
Greet customer and assist at the front desk and via phone to determine the needs of external and internal customers.
Required Education & Experience:
Presently enrolled for at least nine (9) graduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done.
Must be in academic good standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 3.0 GPA
Two years of related work experience.
For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least six (6) graduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming fall term.

You must be willing to work a rotational schedule between the following hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-9:30pm, Friday- 8am-1pm and Saturday- 8am-5pm.
