Under general supervision this position will coordinate incoming and outgoing departmental email; process student transfer credit in the registration process; assist in and at times oversee technological processes in the office and provide administrative support in the areas of degree audits, graduation for all degree programs concentrations and specializations; summer program administration; prepare and provide periodic and ad hoc reports to the campus community; faculty evaluation management; assist with office projects, testing, and web management.
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the areas of registrar/academic records/student systems preferable in an academic community. Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of: Modern office practices and procedures; operation of various office machines; filing systems; proofreading; correct use of English, spelling, grammar; mathematical computations. Organizational skills and accuracy in recording tasks are essential.
