The Food Service Worker assists the cook with all aspects of meal production of a child care center M-F 9-12:30. Prepares food items on rotation menu; record temperatures of food and equipment; assist in directing activities of student workers; direct and assist in cleaning work areas, equipment, and floors, adhere to universal precautions and regulations. This is a part-time position.
Required Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED
6 months of related experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience working the food service industry
Preferred License or Certification:
Food Handler's Certification is preferred.
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
Assist in production records; assist in inventory and storing incoming food and supplies
Direct and assist in cleaning work areas, equipment, and floors, adhere to universal precautions and regulations.
Prepares food items on rotation menu; follow food portion guidelines; record temperatures of food and equipment.
General instruction and periodic review from supervisor. May provide instruction when needed by staff.
Assist in directing activities of student workers. Performs other related duties as assigned.
