Involves managing or performing the administrative services or managing the full general operations of an academic or non-academic organization(s). Administrative services include activities in finance and human resources and may also include IT, facilities, or student services.
General management activities include long and short range strategic planning in determining the mission and directing all activities of multi-disciplinary departments through subordinate management staff. Uses professional concepts to apply organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues. Administers defined operational program. Analyzes and resolves operational problems of moderate scope.
A Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
A minimum of two (2+) or more years of relevant experience i.e. office administration support.
Proven experience providing analytical and administrative support in a large, complex organization. Experience must include preparing complex and confidential presentations.
Excellent skills in Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, Outlook. Experience and success in working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
Demonstrated experience analyzing data.
Must have experience and ability to: research and analyze data, anticipate future needs (be proactive), and ensure effective communication with key stakeholders and clients.
Represent the executive and department to the whole organization.
Handle and resolve issues/questions in a timely and effective manner.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
