Our Emergency Department has an outstanding opportunity for an ARNP or PA to see patients in the Fast Track stream of care as well as exposing them to high acuity challenging patients. The ED ARNP or PA is a member of the inter-professional team that includes attending physicians, residents, and nurses. He/she will evaluate and treat acute and minor illnesses and injuries presenting to the ED. They will serve as backup for Campus Health for employees with blood-borne exposures or job related injury. The individual must function independently as well as provide collaborative medical management with the Emergency Physicians. This position requires proficiency in the assessment of emergent/urgent complaints to determine complexity and stability of patients. Responsibilities include functioning as a member of a multi-disciplinary health care team within the Emergency Department. Evaluate and treat acute and minor illnesses and injuries presenting to the ED. Serve as backup for Campus Health for employees with blood-borne exposures or job related injury. This position requires proficiency in the assessment of emergent/urgent complaints to determine complexity and stability of patients. Requirements 1. Current and unencumbered License as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant in the State of Washington. 2. Proven excellence in working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.3.. Minimum of two years experience as an ARNP or PA 4. Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in Urgent Care or ED setting.5. BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.
