Our Environmental Services - Linen department has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary/hourly, variable shift, STOCKROOM ATTENDANT 1.Under general supervision, the individual will:Meet laundry trucks from the central laundry receive linen into appropriate staging areasCollect and transport soiled linen to the soiled holding areas at the loading dock in a safe and legal mannerDeliver exchange carts and closets/drawers of clean linen as determined by established par levelsAssist in maintaining and recording the physical linen room inventory as required in Linen HelperRespond to customer service calls and/or pages for clean linen deliveries and soiled linen pick-up and log to customer log sheetsPerform related duties as requiredREQUIREMENTS:High school graduation or equivalent. Six months of applicable experience may be substituted for education requirements.DESIRED:Competitive candidates for this position will exhibit clear and concise communications skills, both verbal and written, have at least six months of experience in linen/laundry, and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to handle 2 heavy (300 lbs to 450 lbs) carts of linen items for delivery to areas on the units.
