The Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is recognized for its outstanding reputation in education, research and patient care. The section provides comprehensive care in Pulmonary Lung Transplantation, Adult Cystic Fibrosis, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, General Pulmonary, and Interventional Pulmonary at BCM affiliated hospitals and clinics. The division has 27 fellows in three fellowship programs, including Pulmonary / Critical Care, Critical Care, Sleep, as well as a National Institutes of Health T-32 training program.
We are seeking candidates for Pulmonary / Critical Care faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level. Responsibilities include outpatient Pulmonary clinics, inpatient Pulmonary Service, and intensivist rounds in the Medical, Coronary, Cardiothoracic surgery, and Obstetric Intensive Care Units. Candidates are expected to be board certified/board eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Candidates with additional training in Sleep Medicine or Adult Cystic Fibrosis are encouraged to apply. Faculty are expected to participate in resident and fellow teaching and scholarly pursuits, fulfill the clinical, research and educational missions of our section, and should qualify for academic appointment at BCM at the Assistant / Associate Professor level.
