Pharmacists are responsible for dispensing and compounding medication, counseling patients on medication and health subjects; interpreting prescriptions, managing patient drug therapy for complications, and performing drug utilization. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other health-care practitioners to provide safe, high quality, and cost-effective drug therapy. Supervising any delegated act performed by pharmacy technicians or pharmacy technician trainees. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience & Desired Skills
Residency experience preferred.
Inpatient clinical experience preferred.
Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and delegate tasks.
Must be licensed and/or license eligible in the State of Idaho. Must be licensed prior to start date.
Additional Salary Information: Wages are paid hourly. Organization offers a 12% differential for nights, an 8% differential for weekends, and a 9.8% differential for PRN work.
