Full Time; Career Starting Salary Range: $60,000 - $71,000 / Annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

UCSC Student Health Services is a full service medical facility offering a complex integration of primary care, counseling and psychiatric services to students on the UCSC campus. This includes a primary care clinic, same day clinic, counseling, psychiatry, high complexity laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, optometry and billing and insurance as well as other administrative functions. Student Health Services also encompasses SHOP (Student Health Outreach and Promotion) and CARE: Advocate Office for Sexual and Gender-Based Violence and Sexual Misconduct (the confidential advocacy support for survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking). UCSC Student Health Services strives to create a caring and supportive environment to assist students in improving their physical and emotional well being to aid in their academic success.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent clinical experience/training.
Demonstrated, recent experience and comprehensive knowledge of medical clinic principles and standards sufficient to directly support high quality healthcare delivery, best practices, and quality management activities, such as Infection Control, healthcare provider professional ethics, regulatory agency requirements, and specialized medical equipment and supply maintenance.
Working knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures.
Ability to independently research, analyze, and resolve complex problems on a day to day basis in real time using critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong working knowledge of the clinical and operational issues in infection control, including policies, regulatory requirements, patient care.
