2+ years of recent Service Line Management experience strongly preferred. Experience working in a matrix reporting environment strongly preferred. Experience managing imaging modalities and experience in academic setting a plus.
Experience in the following a plus: Strategic business planning, Capital planning, Improving Patient, satisfaction, Managing operating expense budgets, developing new programs/services, Broad operational healthcare leadership in a large complex institution of similar size and complexity, Teaching hospital is ideal.

This position will provide service line leadership for Cardiac Diagnostics, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiac Rehab. Will partner closely with Medical Directors in each clinical area including anesthesia. Areas of responsibility include: capital budgets and improvements over and under $50,000 as well as management of operational budgets for all areas, quality, patient safety, patient and staff satisfaction, and all regulatory standards for surgical, ambulatory, and inpatient care settings. The position will provide leadership for over 200 FTEs with various shifts, and on-call responsibilities. The Director will have the opportunity to work with two incredible Managers, and 3 Cardiovascular coordinators. Director will also be responsible for development of marketing and growth plans as well as development of service line strategic plan. Directs the strategic, growth, and operational objectives for the service line in conjunction with organizational strategic plans. Directs and oversees continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing an inter-disciplinary and multi-departmental approach, to achieve quality and superior patient care and services across the continuum of care.
Develops and directs strategic, growth, and operational objectives for the service line. Integrates inpatient and outpatient services and strategic plan with the mission, vision, and values of UCHealth. Supports and leads from a process improvement perspective, utilizing benchmarking data to continually achieve higher levels of excellence and cost effectiveness. Maintains staffing as volumes change and works to identify opportunities to modify systems and processes to further improve quality or reduce cost. Directs and oversees program development, performance management, personnel activities, budget, and the provision of services. Works to ensure effective physician and staff relations.
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare or relevant field.
5 years of administrative leadership experience.
Strategic leadership experience in a Cardiovascular services environment.
