The Administrative Coordinator I, is responsible for providing administrative support for Aggie Honor System Office. Plans and provides logistical and administrative support for meetings and hearings. Serves as the primary administrative contact for the office. Assists in resolving complex, highly sensitive, and confidential administrative matters.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of experience in office administration.
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, presentation, and word processing software programs.
Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Prepares and updates complex, technical, and confidential case files assigned by the Director for cases received from designated colleges. Schedules Aggie Honor System Office hearings and investigations for assigned cases. Serves as a case presenter to the Honor Council hearing panels for assigned cases. Communicates appropriate AHSO policies and procedures and serves as resource for such.
Performs advanced word processing, desktop publishing, and data management activities. Gathers information and conducts research in support of departmental initiatives.
Educates students, faculty, and staff about policies that govern the Aggie Honor System Office. Serves as a resource for individuals and stakeholders that have questions about the office, its processes, and best practices.
Designs, edits, and puts in final form information for brochures, pamphlets, reports and online resources for faculty, staff, and students. Performs other duties as assigned.
