Summary of Position: The Director of Network Partnerships is responsible for overseeing: Workshops, Summer Institute, District Networks, and Coaching Inquiry Network convenings
Essential Job Functions
Workshop, Institute and Network oversight
Ensure workshops and Coaching Inquiry Network activities operate within the policies and procedures of Mills Teacher Scholars
Develop forms and records to document and track program activities
Responsible for ensuring program compliance across multiple contexts
Develop agendas and facilitate the monthly or bi-monthly meetings for facilitators
Develop the program
Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program
In collaboration with Executive Director develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement
Develop budgets for site contracts that align with the client goals
Oversee creation of Scope of Work(s) aligning with budget
Work with staff to align work within organizational budget guidelines
Manage personnel work hours to align with budget
Coach school and district leaders
Meet monthly in person or over the phone to support leaders to engage in inquiry around building an effective adult learning environment
Staff the program and supervise program associates
In consultation with the Executive Director, recruit, interview and select well-qualified program staff
Implement the performance management process for all program staff
Organization Mission and Strategy:
Work to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs, and community outreach.
Responsible for implementation of Mills Teacher Scholars 's programs that carry out the organization's mission..
Responsible for the enhancement of Mills Teacher Scholars 's image by being active and visible in the community.
Oversee Internal and External Communications
all internal and external communications align with the values and key messages of organization
Requirements: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Education and Training:
Minimum of an MA or MS
At least 6 years of experience in teaching, three of those in a team management or professional learning role
Minimum of 2 years experience facilitating with Mills Teacher Scholars Inquiry work
Transparent and high integrity leadership exhibiting personal integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for Mills Teacher Scholars' mission
Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs
Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and collaboration
Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems
Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group
Strength in managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control and performance
Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation
Strong public speaking ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
Work involves considerable sitting time at desk/computer, but also entails moving about the building and campus to obtain/deliver materials and meet with people;
Much of the work is conducted in a busy area; interruptions and interactions with others are common, especially when school is in session;
It is occasionally necessary to lift or move somewhat heavy or awkward items
Responsibilities entail occasional evening or weekend hours
Deadlines are a routine part of the work

Additional Information: This is a non-exempt, part-time position with an FTE of 0.65. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life/LTD insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with college-matching after 6-month qualifying period,10 pro-rated days of vacation for year one, 15 pro-rated days of vacation for years 2-10, and 22 pro-rated days of vacation years 10+ plus, 12 pro-rated sick days and 10 pro-rated paid holidays annually. Staff members also receive free admission to campus events, use of the pool, fitness center, and tennis courts. Tuition remission is also available after an introductory period. Voluntary benefits include: pet insurance, long-term care insurance and legal-assistance insurance.
