Under general supervision, leads work of assigned security officers and performs regular security officer duties for assigned areas.
Performs security officer duties and leads work of assigned security officers.
Patrols assigned areas to check for criminal activity, rule violations, and irregularities.
Investigates and reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to campus police unit as needed.
Coordinates and monitors work activities of field Security Officers at particular locations.
Monitors shift activity and makes recommendations for adjustments in shift assignments as needed.
Trains new security officers or other personnel and provides on-going work leadership.
Performs other job-related duties assigned.
High school and 3 years experience
Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED. Requires a minimum of three (3) years directly job related experience
