Job Summary The Research Technician Assistant position will carry out sequential fluorescence in situ hybridization experiments in the Cai Research group in the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering.
Job Duties - Perform in situ hybridization reactions. - Imaging hybridized samples with single molecule microscopy. - Generate hybridization probes via molecular cloning methods. - May maintain mammalian culture. - Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications - BS in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, bioengineering or related field. - Minimum of three years of experience in biology or imaging. - Possess good molecular cloning and technical skills. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with fluorescence microscopy
