The Administrative Coordinator will initiate, develop and implement high level administrative coordination and support for the Dean and Dean’s Office. This will include maintaining digital databases and hard copy files, preparing presentations and processing P-card transactions and allocation reports. The person in this position wil work with the Associate Deans, Chairs, department staff and the Office of Academic Affairs. Other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree and minimum four years’ experience working in administration.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare, proofread and edit clear, concise and grammatically correct business correspondence.
Ability to learn and interpret university and departmental policies and procedures.
Excellent telephone and e-mail etiquette.
Proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently in a busy work environment.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all organizational levels including administration, faculty, staff, students, trustees and donors.

Technical skills to learn and use enterprise systems and other job related software.

Ability to understand standard budget information and perform basic accounting calculations.
Knowledge of College and ability to respond to requests from faculty, students, parents, donors, speakers and community.
Ability to learn various processes required and successfully complete tasks noted above in a timely manner.
