Under the direction Of the Director Of Anatomic Pathology and AP Supervisor develops, implements and performstechnical procedures within the Cytopathology Laboratory of Anatomic Pathology. Additional duties include technicaltraining; CAP and TJC readiness; clerical; telephone; and communication with laboratory customers, Pathologists andothers.
Cytotechnologist license from the CDPH.
Certification asCytotechnologist from the American Society of ClinicalPathologists Registry; or equivalent.
Previous relevant experience.
Three (3) years Cytotechnologistexperience.
Lab processing of GYN & various Non-GYN specimens.
Onsite sample adequacy and assist in Fine Needle Aspiration procedures.
Sure Path certification.
Thin Prep certification.
Must be able to work all shifts, week-ends, overtime, and atvarious locations as necessary in accordance withoperational needs
