The Network & Affiliates Analyst 2 (Ambulatory Care Administration Coordinator 2) provides support to the Division of Network and Affiliates Executive Director, Medical Directors, and Directors (Leadership Team). The incumbent provides scheduling and administrative support to the Leadership Team, including scheduling meetings, appointments, telephone and conference calls; evaluating meeting requirements and researching and preparing background materials; and providing daily executive briefings to the Leadership Team in preparation for commitments. The position provides leadership and direction for ensuring comprehensive coordination of the Executive and Director's travel and works closely with key executives and staff in coordinating inter-related requirements of meetings, events and travel. Additionally, the Network & Affiliates Analyst 2 performs a variety of analytical and project management tasks in support of day-to-day operations and special projects.REQUIRED- Experience managing the calendar and commitments of high-level executives and directors with multiple and varied local, regional, and national commitments, including all aspects of regional and national travel (lodging, transportation, policy application, and reconciliation).- Experience providing analytical, administrative, and project management support to a high level administrator, such as an Executive of a large, complex organization.- Analytical and problem solving skills to work with complex information, determine impact, identify risks, evaluate approaches; and develop solutions within the context of priorities, time constraints, and available resources.- Political acumen and collegial communication skills to interact with persons at all levels of the hierarchy with varying backgrounds, levels of expertise, interest, and personal investment.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Writing, editing and proofreading skills to produce clear, well-organized information with strict attention to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. - Computer skills to apply various software programs (Microsoft Outlook, MS Exchange, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Internet) to accomplish assignments.PREFERRED- Knowledge and understanding of campus-wide offices, administrative contacts, departments and resources.- Knowledge and understanding of UCDMC/UCD Health/University policies and procedures and Staff Personnel policies and procedures.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS - THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT.- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to meet office needs. - Must be able to move and lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
