Works under supervision and performs entry-level administrative support work. Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
Greets visitors, answers and screens calls, provides general information and referrals, and schedules appointments.
Receives, sorts, and routes mail received at the front desk and performs other mail services.
Makes arrangements for meetings, appointments, conferences, and travel.
Provides backup support to other administrative associates as needed.
Posts information to agency records and modifies forms or records. Performs data entry and retrieval and maintains data files.
Prepares and proofs materials for reports and other publications.
Prepares, modifies, and verifies documents.
Maintains office supplies and equipment.
Maintains office reference materials including online office materials.
May deliver, pick up, or receive documents, supplies, equipment, or materials.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma.
One year of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Some college courses.
Two to three years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Moderate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of iCloud scheduling.
Punctuality and dependability.
Demonstrate professional and business etiquette.
