The Program Aide will assist with summer programs and projects related to analyzing metabolites present in medicinal and food based plants in support of the Cooperative Agricultural Research Center. This Program Aide is a temporary summer position that will take place from June 1, 2018 through August 31, 2018.
Supervise/monitor participants in the REAP and Summer BRIDGE programs to include being their form of adviser, chaperon participants on field trips and accompany them to and from the MSC on campus.
Assist in research labs, multi-media center, and/or professors with academic projects or assignments.
Assist with chemical analysis equipment, will assist with thermal stability, particle size and stability of particles and will assist in assessing plant materials and inhibition of cell growth.
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
Six months of related experience.
