The Senior Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst provides oversight on a wide variety of duties related to Information Technology applications, specifically the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing, Single Business Office, Claims, Remittance, and Research Billing. Responsibilities include servicing as technical resource to the team; designing, developing, testing, implementing, and evaluating hospital billing information systems for the organization.
Responsible for planning, developing, training, implementation, and evaluation of information systems to support ongoing operations and ensure development, evaluation, and ongoing support for all components of the program. Analyst will be working closely with Revenue Cycle operations (Patient Access, Revenue Integrity, Professional Billing, Continuous Improvement, Trainers, Finance, Cashiers, Hospital Billing, Clinical Research Billing, Single Business Office) as well as third party vendors and other applications teams.
A Bachelor's Degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
Epic Resolute hospital billing certificate.
Five (5+) or more years of relevant experience - Hospital Billing Systems.
Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.
Certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Claims/Remittance or experience
Demonstrated experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation.
Revenue cycle background and experience that provides understanding of healthcare operations and basic medical records management.
Demonstrated experience and proven expertise in problem-solving and debugging techniques.
Ability in specification development, quantitative methods, system documentation and change management.
Proven ability to effectively use vendor-provided and/or other computing tools to tailor systems and applications to meet specifications and user requirements.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
