The primary purpose of the Revenue Cycle Quality Initiatives Project Manager position is to provide project management functions applicable to the Harris Health Systems Revenue Cycle as it relates to current and future quality-based payment impacts. The Revenue Cycle Quality Initiatives Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budgets. Duties will include coordinating the efforts of the Hospital Acquired Conditions/Potentially Preventable Complications steering committee with vendors, contractors, and/or consultants in addition to internal departments including, but not limited to Coding, IT, Quality, HIM, Decision Support, Systems Integration, Finance/Reporting, and CDI. The Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout the projects life cycles.
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelors Degree in Healthcare related field required. Work Experience (Years and Area): None required. Management Experience (Years and Area): None required. Equipment Operated: EPIC electronic medical record; 3M Encoder; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Visio); Optum Computer Assisted Coding.
